Where was this idea for Pathwar born ? 🏴‍☠️

The Pathwar project is a platform that was born out of the ECS (Epitech Security Lab) under the name of Thot Project in 2010, the platform was intended as an anarchic hub for learning cyber … anarchic & free because it was allowed to do anything within reason, such as leading opponents down false trails or worse, removing access to a level to block their path.

Betrip… a student’s idea for students 👨‍🎓

The result of a long week of brainstorming, Betrip was born out of a problem we all experienced as students: the difficulty of finding out about destinations abroad.

We all had to go abroad in 4th year, but where? It’s a difficult question, between the budget, the specificities or even the culture of a country, it can be hard to choose.

And once you’ve made up your mind, the difficulty only increases: how do you get a visa? how do you integrate once you’re in the country? etc.

12 Jun 2017 … Attention Is All You Need 🔎

On June 12, 2017, a research paper came out that was to be a game-changer in the field of AI, Attention Is All You Need which introduced the Transformers architecture, destined to replace RNNs (sequential models), particularly in language at first, Transformers soon became the state-of-the-art across all tasks, as ViT would later demonstrate for Computer Vision.

Meanwhile, at PoC, the first student innovation center, a project was being developed: SmartShark a cyber attack detection system using Deep Learning models and in particular the LSTM architecture (specific case of RNNs) for this purpose.
